I did mention Pulumi as an alternative - in fact, I personally use it because I prefer backblaze to S3 :)

If you’re strictly using AWS and 0 cross cloud, I’d use AWS CDK because the integrations are too good. Otherwise, Pulumi is the way to go for me.
